The planned lesbian housing project and cultural centre in Berolinastraße in the district of Berlin-Mitte invites interested people and the neighbourhood to get to know each other and to mingle together.
We will provide information about the plans and future use of the new building and are open to questions and suggestions from the neighbourhood.
The neighbourhood is especially invited to contribute wishes and suggestions for the future design of the event hall and the Kiez-Café.
The performance of the women’s jazz trio „Kat Baloun & Friends“ will give the opportunity to enjoy the music together and afterwards to engage in conversation.

„We in the middle – Neighbourhood under the rainbow“

The event takes place in cooperation of Rad und Tat Berlin gGmbH (Lesbian Housing Project), the Equal Opportunities Officer of the Mitte District Office and the Alexanderplatz District Coordination. The event is supported by the Landesantidiskriminierungsstelle Berlin.
Das geplante Lesbenwohnprojekt und Kulturzentrum in der Berolinastraße im Bezirk Berlin-Mitte lädt Interessierte und die Nachbarschaft ein zum Kennenlernen und zum Miteinander.
Wir informieren über die Pläne und die zukünftige Nutzung des Neubaus und sind für Fragen und Anregungen aus der Nachbarschaft offen.
Die Nachbarschaft ist an dem Abend besonders eingeladen Wünsche und Anregungen für die zukünftige Gestaltung des Veranstaltungssaals und des Kiez-Cafés einzubringen.
Mit dem Auftritt des Frauen-Jazz-Trios „Kat Baloun & Friends“ gibt es anschließend die Möglichkeit sich gemeinsam an der Musik zu freuen und ins Gespräch zu kommen.

Die Veranstaltung findet in Kooperation derRad und Tat Berlin gGmbH (Lesbenwohnprojekt) mit der Gleichstellungsbeauftragten des Bezirksamtes Mitte sowie der Stadtteilkoordination Alexanderplatz statt. Die Veranstaltung wird gefördert von der Landesantidiskriminierungsstelle Berlin.
